Hiking

HIKING around Phasels Wood is undertaken by most visitors. The countryside setting makes it a suitable venue for hiking along many well known footpaths and routes taking in the Grand Union canal and surrounding villages. Phasels Wood is also suitable for Duke of Edinburgh bronze and practice expeditions.

Routes and walks, short and long are available from the office.Map number Landranger 166 lets you plan your route, visit the sights and get to know the local area Grid reference 05104. Map number Explorer 182 is a highly detailed map is ideal for all sorts of outdoor activities. You will also need to supply your own risk assessment for this activity.
