BAF Permit: The 10K event will again be registered with the BAF for a permit

Venue: Phasels Wood

Start Time: Runs commence at 11am starting with the 10K, then 3.3K then 1.5K.
Aerobic warm up will start at 10.30am

Open Events: Open to all that wish to run or walk around the routes for fun or to raise money for their favourite charity or the school.

Fancy Dress: To add to the fun, dress up and run! Prize for best fancy dress.

Teams: For the 3.3K &10K, there will be a fun run team (Pubs, Clubs, Football teams...) prize. The team with the first three team members to finish wins.

Routes, Age & Time Restrictions

10K Multi Terrain
Runners must be 17 years or older on race day
Time limit for 10K is 1 hour 45 minutes

3.3K Multi Terrain
Runners must be 11 years or older on race day

1.5K Flat Field
Open to all age groups. It is advised that under 6’s be accompanied by an adult, either singly or in a group.

Trophies: Prizes will be awarded to the various categories in the 10K. Prizes to be collected on the day.

Postal Entry: Save money by sending your entry by post to arrive before 11th May 2008. Entries after 11th May 2008 will only be accepted on race day.

Race Day Entry: Accepted between 09.30am and 10.30am but at the HIGHER rate.

Notice of Acceptance and Running Numbers
Acceptance and running numbers for applications received before the 11th May 2008 will be posted to runners. Postal entries received between 11th and 16th May will require you to collect your number on the race day.

Background
There are three races 10k, 3.3k and 1.5K…run at Phasels Wood (map on web site……indicate which one you want to enter……you’ll be allocated a number (must be worn) The Organisers have the final results.

Condition and event instructions:

By entering the run you agree to abide by the conditions of Entry and any event instructions given to you by the organizers and officials.

Entrants of the 10k must be aged 17 years or more on the 16th May 2008

Entry Fee: If your entry is accepted your fee is not refundable. Refunds will be considered if supported by a doctor’s note and if received by 11th May 2008. Exceptional cases will be dealt with by the race committee

All refunds will be liable to an administration fee of £2.

Race Cancellation: If the race is cancelled or delayed due to unforeseen circumstances we will endeavor to stage the race at a later date. In such an event we will let you know in writing of the cancellation or delay.
